It follows an activity-oriented approach with about 100 activities per book. Most of these are based on experimental work and involve setting up and performing experiments.
The Oral Questions within each chapter are an important formative assessment toll. They are designed to be used for testing and strengthening the student's understanding of the subject while the topic is being taught, and for getting immediate feedback on areas that need improvement--an important aspect of formative assessment. For best results these should be used to initiate discussions in class.
